Known as The Sutton Barn Choir, ours is a fun singing group for club members with no requirement to read music – though music can be provided for music readers. We sing popular music from the 1930s to contemporary pieces, which means we have a rich and varied repertoire.
We love to visit local retirement homes to entertain and have also ventured out to Seaford’s outdoor green spaces which we hope will draw attention to the need to protect these from development. We contribute to Seaford Christmas celebrations and look forward to being part of each years festive events. Of course participation in these events is optional.
We are directed by Nigel Goss, a Seaford based composer and jazz pianist. We are also fortunate that a past club Chairman is a retired Royal Philarmonic and London Philarmonic violinist who enhances our performances when he is free.
We meet on a Wednesday from 10.30 to 11.45.
Your membership fee to the club includes participation in the choir.
All are welcome.
